Our philosophy
Wellness, as a quiet practice.
L’Amai was built on a single conviction — that real care cannot be rushed. We draw from the discipline of Japanese ritual and the warmth of Scandinavian hospitality to create something quieter, slower, and more honest than what wellness has become.
Every detail of our space, our treatments and our products is chosen with intention. Nothing borrowed, nothing loud. Just considered work, repeated with care.
Our space
Built to feel like an exhale.
The Practice
Scalp health, treated with the same care as skin.
L’Amai is a Japanese head spa — scalp therapy performed on specialised beds, where warm water, steam and precise hand technique work together to cleanse, stimulate and restore. The scalp is skin, and like the skin on your face, it can be dry, congested or sensitive. We treat the environment it lives in, not just the hair that grows from it.
The foundation
Healthy hair starts beneath the surface.
Follicles sit in whatever environment the scalp gives them. Circulation, buildup and hydration there shape the strength of what grows above it — which is why every session begins with the scalp itself, long before it reaches the hair.
How we begin
We start by listening to your scalp.
Before any treatment, your scalp is examined under our analysis machine — a close, magnified look at hydration, sensitivity and buildup. From that, we prepare your own scalp report and recommend the program built for what you need, not a general routine.
The programs
Seven programs. One scalp — yours.
Every scalp arrives at L’Amai differently, so we don’t offer one routine — we offer seven, ranging from sensitivity and detox to hydration and restoration. Your therapist, guided by your scalp report, will recommend the one built for what you need right now.
Our products
Nothing borrowed, nothing added for show.
Every treatment at L’Amai is built on an organic, botanically derived base, chosen because it treats the scalp the way we do — gently, and with intention. The same tonics you’re sent home with are what carried the treatment, so the ritual continues after you leave.
By design
Small, on purpose.
L’Amai was never built to hold a crowd. There’s no queue, no waiting room of strangers, no sense of being moved through a schedule. The space is intentionally small — one therapist, one chair, your full session uninterrupted — so that when you’re here, the room is really yours.
